We just received a press release that our extraction lab and manufacturer (who by the way is renowned for their broad spectrum technology) acquired an API license. An Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient license is a huge deal for CBD! The FDA defines API as an active ingredient in a drug product to directly affect the “diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment or prevention of disease or to affect the structure and function of the body.”-

YEP! You read it right. Having an API license means you have the ability to choose wording that companies have to tread lightly using currently because of lack of regulations!

For The Rooted Co. this means that we will remain at the forefront of the CBD movement and continue to work with the largest vertically integrated lab to produce patented nano broad spectrum. It has been challenging because the technology is still misunderstood, and consumers are only beginning to learn about CBD oil and CBD tinctures. For us, we pride ourselves on having the best CBD that is truly supported by science as nano technology is not a new process.

With the 2018 Farm Bill recently passing CBD research is on the rise. Our goal is to continue to educate consumers on hemp derived CBD and perfect the formula we have to provide a clean and effective product.
